After years of reading for work and training, I’ve finally had the time over the past year to get back to reading for fun. There’s lots of great bloggers and book communities out there that I wasn’t sure how I could contribute to this in a meaningful or interesting way. After reading some amazing books recently with compelling and complex characters, I wondered about drawing from my day job and bringing a psychological perspective to the characters and their journeys in the book. The idea is to use psychological formulation to explore the characters further.

I’m setting up this page and blog with the intention of keeping track of my reading and giving writing a go. I hope this can be a fun and interesting way to explore some great books in a refreshing way that also helps communicate some psychological models and concepts.
